WFD and FD – Service contract for providing support to the assessment of the Water Framework Directive and Floods Directive’s Plans and Implementation (070201/2015/716130/ENV/C.1)
DG Environment
This service contract provides technical assistance to the Commission – DG Environment in the assessment of the implementation of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) and the Flood Directive (FD) by the 28 Member States of the EU. This includes support in the development of the assessment methodology and preparation of technical reports according to a methodology to be agreed with the Commission. Specific tasks:
- Compliance assessment of 2nd River Basin Managements Plans (RBMPs): development of the assessment methodology, compliance assessment, EU overview assessment, lessons learned
- Assessment of the 1st Floods Risk Managements Plans (FRMPs): development of the assessment methodology, compliance assessment, EU overview assessment, lessons learned
- Assessment of existing coordination regarding water management and floods management in International River Basin Districts
